"The Displaced Eye," a film program that seeks to echo the comic grotesque genre through both an overt and latent sense of surrealist cinema will be screened at SECRET PROJECT ROBOT this SATURDAY, March 3rd, at 7:30pm (program to begin at 8pm). This is the final weekend to experience Our Dark Heroes, so please make sure to stop by! "The Displaced Eye" features works by Jonathan Schwartz, Moira Tierney, Christen Smith,
Jeremiah Zagar & Michael Reich, Tim Reardon, Jeremy Bronson, + Elena Wen.

2.21.07 // "Curious Absurdity" performance salon on Saturday!

"Curious Absurdity," a vaudeville-style performance salon will be taking place at SECRET PROJECT ROBOT this SATURDAY, February 24th, at 8pm (doors at 7:30!). There will be puppet theater, shadow performances, and avant-garde video ventriloquism by Evan O'Television, Emmy Bean, Carole D'Agostino, and Puppetkabob. Only a $5 donation, with free champagne and cupcakes and a cozy wood burning stove! View the super special invite here.

Other cultural events will coincide with the exhibition all through the month of February including a live music performance by Edison Woods on February 17th, a vaudeville performance salon on February 24th featuring Evan O' Television, Puppetkabob, and others, and a closing screening of “The Displaced Eye," curated by Lisa Kletjian, on March 3rd.
